This was my senior project at UCT. My role was editor.

In 1994, Archbishop Desmond Tutu described South Africa as a "rainbow nation." What does it mean to be a rainbow nation? We sought to explore this question in ANTHEM (2019) as well as the concept of nationhood in general. The film features one South African for each verse of the national anthem as each person approaches their own individuality through the words of the song.

QUEER (2019) is divided into five segments, each featuring one self-indentifying LGBTQ+ youth. We gave each of the subjects full creative control of their segments - from direction to production. The result is a film that exemplifies the diversity and individuality of the LGBTQ+ community.
